We don't spend much time discussing rentals in Crown Heights (unless we're talking ProCro), but what else is a quiet Monday morning for? Meet The Plex, a seven-story rental building named like a gym that'll be opening at the end of the month on the corner of Sullivan Place and Nostrand Avenue. There's only a teaser website live so far, but happily, a press release arrived in the Curbed inbox to fill in the gaps.
The building will have 98 studio through three-bedroom units, and, well, we'll let the press release describe the amenities:
Spanning an entire city block, the building has been designed as an urban oasis with an amazing array of features, including attended lobby, on-site garage, two landscaped residents’ terraces, toddlers’ playground, dog run, fully-equipped residents’ lounge with billiards table, screening room, bicycle room, refrigerated “Fresh Direct” package room and a 1,500-square-foot fitness center with separate yoga room. A virtual city within a city, the building even offers residents the convenience of their own ATM and vending machines. We'd expect nothing less from something called The Plex!
Rents start at $1,350/month for studios and go as high as $2,800/month for a 1,100-square-foot 3BR. We'll update with pics and floorplans when we have 'em.
