$2.25M LIC Penthouse Doesn't Leave Much to the Imagination

New, 26 comments

Long Island City's 1 Vernon Jackson?formerly known as 10-17 Jackson Avenue?was a mere construction site last time we visited. Now the Studio V-designed building, on a triangle plot of land at Vernon Boulevard and Jackson Avenue, is more than 50 percent sold, and there are penthouses on the market, which means one thing: party time! Curbed intern William Weber headed over for a look at the 2BR, 2.5BA, 1,436-square-foot PH7G. Price: $2.25 million. The two terraces and balcony add up to a formidable 1,233 square feet. Our intern's capsule review: the glass and steel building has a bit of a Los Angeles feel, and the master bedroom and bathrooms aren't exactly private.

James Rieck is the contemporary artist whose work adorns the walls. Seems more East of East's style, no?
