Old St. Vincent's Building Prepares for Return as Pricey Condos

New, 10 comments

The 14-story building at 130 West 12th Street is a St. Vincent's Hospital leftover, and it's finally getting reheated come November. The Rudin Management-owned building has been rebooted as a condo designed by architects Cook + Fox. We don't fully know what they have in store for us, because the teaser website offers only a glimpse of the interiors, but a press release from build reps promises "lighting and custom accessories designed exclusively by Cook + Fox."

Given the location of this conversion and some of its features, including onsite cogeneration to produce electricity, the pricing's on the higher end. The one- to four-bedroom apartments?869 to 3,875 square feet in size?will range in price from $1.395 million to $12.875 million.
