Architects are generally a rational breed, but it doesn't keep some of them from harboring less-than-mainstream opinions about, say, 9/11. Daniel Barnum is one such architect, and Metropolis, a pretty well-regarded design magazine, has published his concerns in an op-ed questioning what really caused the Twin Towers to fall. Barnum writes, "The official explanation is that the fires caused the structures to fail, but no other high-rise steel frame building has ever collapsed due to fire, before or since." UPDATE: Architect mag Tweets that Metropolis scrubbed the Truther post. [Metropolis]
