How Much for an East Village Corner Duplex With Park Views?

New, 24 comments

PriceSpotter is Curbed's asking price guessing game. We provide you with some details and pictures from an apartment listing, and you take a crack at the price in the comments. Tomorrow we reveal the answer. And hey, no cheating!

What/Where: 2BR, 2BA condo on Avenue B between 9th and 10th Streets
Square Feet: 852
Maintenance/CC: $650
The Skinny: Great apartment, though not in the part of the East Village that's convenient to say, commuting via subway. It's a corner unit on the eastern boundary of Tompkins Square Park, with "double height ceilings, oversized windows and great light." The master bedroom with walk-in closet is on the first floor of the duplex, with a mezzanine bedroom above that strays just outside of home-office territory thanks to that additional bath. Now, does the eastern East Village still consider itself blue-chip in a lukewarm market, and how much is the ask?
