With a bit more than a week to go until the opening of Jane's Carousel, the "transparent acrylic jewel box" that will be home to Jane Walentas' carefully-restored carousel horses, the Journal has an impressive slideshow of carousel close-ups. The construction of the Jean Nouvel-designed glassy carousel pavilion cost more than $9 million, and Jane Walentas has spent years restoring the horses, so we're not surprised to see photos of the Walentas couple moving the horses from studio to pavilion themselves.
