Starchitect, Busted?

New, 1 comment

Starchitect Norman Foster is world-renowned, but what's up with his streak of bad luck in the US? Co.Design cites the no-longer-Lord-Foster's tabled Shakespearean stage on Governors Island and questions the relevance of Tower 2 at the World Trade Center. And for the praise heaped on Sperone Westwater, there's also the lukewarm critical reception for Hearst HQ uptown. Funny thing about the word "cursed": it's kind of a self-fulfilling prophecy.
