100 Eleventh Resident Finally Unloads $2 Million Condo

Even Jean Nouvel's mountain of magic mirrors has its flaws, and the first round of buyers at 100 Eleventh Avenue made their criticisms known, speaking out to the press about everything from shoddy construction to cracked concrete to rust to lobby leaks. One buyer who stayed quiet was Barbara Dente, who picked up the 1BR, 1.5BA #16B for $2,018,250 in April 2010. But we speculated that she was making her remorse known another way when she relisted the apartment for $2.695 million less than a year after buying it. And now someone's taking it off her hands. Dente had chopped the price to $2.25 million last fall, and the LLC-masked buyer's paying even less at $2.1 million. That's one perk to all those construction complaints: starchitecture at a discount.
