New York is on the verge of overhauling its procedures for altering neighborhood zoning, in order to make it easier for building owners to rehab and retrofit properties to make them more energy efficient. This Zone Green effort prompted WNET's MetroFocus to examine the results of the city's three largest recent re-zoning changes in Brooklyn's Greenpoint-Williamsburg, Manhattan's Hudson Yards, and Jamaica, Queens.
