$13.5 Million Brooklyn Heights Mansion Goes Quickly

New, 1 comment

The 7,000 square foot, 7 BR, 25 foot-wide townhouse on Columbia Heights only had to spend three months on the market before going in contract, despite its $13.5 million price tag. The sale price is unknown, but there were no markdowns; and three weeks ago a townhouse on Willow St. around the corner went for half that price as a show-up and teardown special. This 1855 mansion, on the other hand, underwent a detailed 2005 renovation that ostensibly pushed its value above $1,900 a square foot. Consider this the opening salvo in the battle for biggest Brooklyn sales in 2012. Your move Gravesend.
