SPURA on Display; Annual Preservation Conference Announced

LOWER EAST SIDE/GREENWICH VILLAGE?After 40 years, the undeveloped Lower East Side parking lots that make up SPURA have certainly produced enough material for an exhibit or two. And the Layered SPURA/City Studio project knows it: SPURA is now the subject of an exhibition at the Sheila C. Johnson Design Center at Parsons. The exhibition "explores this complex site using a hybrid approach of pedagogy, art and research." We're not really sure what that means?anyone been? [Parsons via ArchPaper]
