Harlem School-Turned-Condo Finally Has Full Enrollment

We've been giving incremental updates on the sales progress at Harlem's PS90, a school-turned-condo at 220 West 148th Street. Now for the big news: the building has finally sold out. We visited the building back in the early on-sale days of fall 2009, when only one contract had been signed, and the first buyers have long since moved in. So how did the final sales numbers stack up? StreetEasy doesn't yet show all sales?seven units have yet to move from in contract to sold, and one penthouse is still actively listed?but has an average recorded sales price of $505/square foot. Discounts go as deep as 13.4 percent off (for a studio), but another studio buyer paid 22.6 percent above the apartment's asking price. For anyone who still wants to get into the building but missed the purchase window, there are two rental units on the market, a 1BR/1BA $2,450/month and a 2BR/2BA for $3,100/month.
