Karl Fischer's Troubled 20 Bayard Relists a Few Units

New, 6 comments

Karl Fischer Row's 20 Bayard, one of the infamous architect's boomtime creations, is coming out of a troubled period. The building went broke?and partly rental. And then there were tenants' concerns about water destruction. Still, the building found a buyer in Fortis Property Group, and the firm has brought a few of the 37 vacant "dramatic condos" (per the brokerbabble) back to market, Brownstoner reports. So far there are three 1BRs listed, for between $535,000 and $695,000. One of those units has gone up in price from a 2008 ask of $615,000; another is now asking less, down to $535,000 from 2007's $625,000.
