World Trade Center Redevelopment

New, 2 comments

1 World Trade Center may be on track to be the most expensive office building ever built, but no one said anything about its components getting finished on time. The latest delay: the building's underground loading dock won't be done in time for the building's tenants to move in the equipment they need to build out their offices. Instead, the equipment will have to be wheeled through a door in the base of the tower that wasn't meant for cargo. And, shocker, this will all add millions more dollars to the cost of 1 WTC construction. [NYP]
