NYU took a break from juggling its plans for Greenwich Village and Downtown Brooklyn back in May to name Kohn Pedersen Fox and EYP Architecture & Engineering as the designers for the school's First Avenue health corridor. The architects were charged with designing a 170,000-square-foot building for NYU's dental and nursing schools and a new bioengineering program. Today NYU?while the drama continues with those DoBro and Greenwich Village plans?unveiled the renderings for 433 First Avenue, which should open in 2015. The building will, according to Crain's, cost somewhere in the vicinity of $140 million.
