A Townhouse on Lex Sticks to Red, White, and Black Scheme

New, 10 comments

Located down on lower Lexington Avenue, in a neighborhood the residents would probably refer to as Gramercy but is more like Kips Bay, this pristine 1901 townhouse has all the bones of a classic and all the modern furnishings of a new build. The color palette is a consistent black, red, and white, which, depending on your tastes, either looks stylish or like it came out of a 15-year-old boy's bedroom. Either way, that's sort of beside the point, considering the place is being sold unfurnished for $3.95M. The location on busy Lex certainly has something to do with the lower asking price, especially considering it looks to be in mint condition.
