What $2.25M Gets You Now: Less Than Half of a Carroll Gardens Townhouse

New, 7 comments

We're feeling this duplex over at 240 Carroll Street between Smith and Court Streets in Carroll Gardens, with the top two floors of the brownstone turned into the 4 bedroom apartment. On the inside, we're digging the renovations, they're not mind-blowing but they're pretty tastefully done. One issue we have is that the top level looks like it might have low ceilings, but we suppose that if a family buys it (that floor looks like it's currently configured as a children's area), then that could not be a forgivable offense. That being said, the roof deck is incredible and drool-worthy. But, $2,250,000 for a townhouse condo? It's certainly spacious at 2,692 square feet plus the awesome outdoor space, so it could definitely find a buyer not too far off from asking. Clearly, we're bullish on brownstone Brooklyn, and we'll definitely keep tabs on this one.
