After six years, Lincoln Center has finally completed its $1.2 billion renovation project. The grand finale comes tonight, with the opening of the 83-foot long 65th Street bridge. Named the President's Bridge, the structure was "designed to echo the soaring glass walls of The Juilliard School and Alice Tully Hall, and reflect the open, transparent spirit of Lincoln Center's new design." Sounds nice, but some archicritics aren't crazy about it. Tonight's event will also include the dedication of a wall inscribed with the names of 100 donors. [Crain's; previously]
