A conversation between New York Times Magazine editors led to a photoessay in which one editor names a friend's home that he covets, then that friend named one that he covets, and so on. The journey begins in Chelsea, makes a brief detour in Long Island, then heads over to the Upper East Side, then Greenwich Village, the Upper West Side, and Tribeca before, in an incredible twist, the owner of the Tribeca place says she covets the apartment of that first editor! Just kidding. That guy's apartment probably sucks. [NYTM; photo by Vivienne Gucwa]
