For more than a decade, Jane Greengold has decorated her Cobble Hill townhouse for Halloween by impaling 100 carved pumpkins on the iron fence that borders her property on the corner of Kane Street and Strong Place. She leaves the pumpkins to rot into gruesome shapes, and this year, she's inviting the neighborhood to help fill all 274 spikes by asking people to bring their own pumpkins for impaling.
