The townhouse at 153 Franklin Street was having trouble selling even before Dominique Strauss-Kahn moved in. He paid the owner a steady $60,000/month while Strauss-Kahn and his electronic monitoring bracelet occupied the house, but other than that, his stay doesn't seem to have helped matters. The house cut its price several more times after he moved out, finally arriving at an ask of $9.9 million. There is now a buyer, who, says the Post, paid $10.5 million. In the end, there were four bidders for the place.
