The new owners of Park Slope's pinkstone?who just bought the place for $2.075 million?have gotten city permission to repaint it brown. As a way of bidding the building farewell, Curbed video editor David Sherwin and intern Emily Laskodi took to the street outside to get neighborhood opinions on its current paint color. Turns out there's a pretty adorable story behind the former owner's choice of pink, though the specific shade was an accident.
