After yesterday's neon mess in Brooklyn, it might be nice to cleanse our palates, and we can all do so by looking at pictures of this newly renovated townhouse at 12 West 83rd Street, which was just listed for $12,500,000. Purchased in 2008 for just under $8 million, the three-story (plus garden level and basement) house has since been given a thorough updating, and contains a large kitchen, landscaped garden, library, and, for all the powder room-heads out there, a garden level powder room. Aah, that's better.
Update: Upper West Side blog My Upper West has alerted us to the fact that the house was listed last December for the exact same amount, with the exact same pictures, meaning that any renovations are at least a year old. Read the original post here.
