The proposed Jamestown Properties expansion of Chelsea Market is nearly through the city review process, with only the final City Council vote?deadline: November 2?to go. Jamestown has already made a few modifications to its expansion plan over the past few months, including a setback and an agreement to make the addition smaller. The developer has also agreed to make a few more changes, the Journal reports, at the urging of City Council Speaker Christine Quinn. Jamestown will promise not to alter the windows or facade of the non-landmarked Chelsea Market complex. The developer will also set up some kind of internship program at the Fulton Houses affordable housing project nearby. Will that soothe hurt feelings over the fate of the Oreo's birthplace?
