Hurricane Sandy has claimed another victim—the netting covering the Adjmi & Andreoli-designed 250 Bowery condos, which, rather than being torn apart by gale force winds, was dismantled by workers this weekend. (It was an indirect sort of victim-claiming. But it still counts!) Now exposed, the building's many-windowed, grid-like facade bears no noticeable difference from the many renderings that have already been released. It is looking very sleek, though, and those windows are about to get a good washing.
