Developer Stephan Boivin has already moved ahead with the demolition of 186 Spring Street, according to an e-mail blast from the Greenwich Village Society for Historic Preservation. The 1824 house was previously the home of Beastie Boy Adam Horovitz, had qualified for the State and National Registers of Historic Places for its role in the post-Stonewall gay rights movement, and was part of the proposed South Village Historic District. Condos (of course) will now be built on the site. [CurbedWire Inbox; previously]
