It didn't take long for this week's Cornerspotter to be identified as the corner of Bridge and Whitehall Streets in the Financial District. The photo was taken in 1935, 34 years before construction started on One Battery Park Plaza, the glassy tower that now stands on the same corner. The clue in the photo was the building seen on the edge of the photo, which still exists today. Several readers correctly identified it as the historic custom U.S. Custom House, now home to the Museum of the American Indian. Guest #1 named the corner first, so he/she takes the prize. Thanks for playing!
