A new eight-unit rental building at 147 Rogers Avenue is nearing completion in Crown Heights. Work began on the property, formerly a two-story garage, in summer 2011, and developer DK Real Estate Group tells us that the units will be move-in ready by January 1. The building has seven 650-square-foot one-bedrooms and one 1,050-square-foot two bedroom duplex with a roof deck. Architect Kyu Myeon Lee designed the project, and a sign on the construction fencing says the apartments will have central air, European cabinetry and tiles, oak floors, high ceilings, a washer/dryer, and "floor-to-ceiling glass patio doors that open to private balconies." No word yet on pricing.
The building will also have a shared yard and roof deck.
The sign on the fencing also mentions "green design," so presumably, the building has some sustainability features.
