Cornerspotted: Flatbush Avenue and Chester Court in PLG

New, 2 comments

This week's Cornerspotter photo was taken around 1920, and it shows 610 Flatbush Avenue in Prospect-Lefferts Gardens. The building on the corner is now a four-story brick apartment building, but the neo-Tudor houses on the side street, Chester Court, are still there. Commenter tw76 thought that this was Rutland Road, which was a good guess as Rutland has the same style of houses, but it was an anonymous commenter who got it right. The homes were built in 1914, and they were designed by the architect Peter Collins, who also designed the homes on Rutland Road.
