A potential buyer of a studio in Greenwich Village writes in with this question:
I found a studio in GV for $250,000... problem? It's rent stabilized. However, from what I understand of the law, owners can displace stabilized tenants for their own personal or family use. So, is this really an option or a legal and financial nightmare? Does it depend on the age of the renter?
