It's a dark day for Park Slope parents. Last night, neighborhood education officials voted in favor of the hotly contested school rezoning, which affects the coveted P.S. 321 and P.S. 107. The plan cuts the districts by a dozen blocks to reduce crowding, and as a result, it changes the fate of families who now find themselves outside the desired zones. One now-excluded family, who moved to the area for P.S. 321, is considering re-moving just one block to be back in the 321 zone. [Brooklyn Paper]
