New-to-Market Harlem Penthouse Seeks Startling $3.8M

New, 1 comment

Without even unit pictures or a floorplan?the images on the listing, which we used for the tiled pic above, all appear to be amenities shots?there's a new penthouse on the market in Harlem's SoHa 118 asking a whopping $3.8 million (plus maintenance charges of $2,053). Sure, it's a 4BR, 4.BA place that weighs in at 3,477 square feet, but no other penthouse in the building has commanded nearly that price. The 3BR PH1G is asking $1.525 million, and PH3A sold in 2011 for $1.13 million. In fact, a Curbed operative points out, $3.8 million is only a little bit below what David Byrne paid for a West Chelsea penthouse two years ago. In other words: what gives, SoHa 118?
· Listing: 301 West 118th Street, PH3D [Corcoran]
