Powering Up

Almost all of New York City's public housing developments should get power back within three days, according to Mayor Bloomberg. There were 114 New York City Housing Authority buildings without power as of this afternoon, and 174 buildings without heat or hot water. Bloomberg appointed Brad Gair direct of housing recovery operations, and he'll be responsible for helping New Yorkers who were displaced by Hurricane Sandy to find new housing. [Metropolis]
