Before this structure was erected more than a century ago, it was described by a local paper as "a building of monumental character." Located in a busy commercial area, the building benefited from its location next to a popular park. Today, the park remains a beloved attraction, but the beautiful stone building, along with its neighbor, was knocked down and replaced with a bland glass and steel 32-story tower. Can you name the building and location?
