Footwear chain Shoe Mania left its space at 853 Broadway rather abruptly this summer. The move sparked a lawsuit from a lender, but it also, it seems, opened up an opportunity for a building makeover. The Feil Organization has a listing, which a tipster kindly passed along, for the space, and it includes a rendering of a glassier, snazzier 853 Broadway. There are up to 37,028 square feet available on six floors. Shoe retailers probably need not apply.
