Instead of rallying to save the Cherry Street Pathmark that's about to be replaced by residential development, neighbors are focused on finding a "reliable alternative" to their supermarket. The Two Bridges Neighborhood Council wants to start a shuttle service to an alternative supermarket or "provide a smaller substitute" supermarket closer to the Pathmark location, and they've hired some kind of "urban food consultant" to work with them on this. All of which sounds, actually, rather productive. [Bowery Boogie; previously]
