Bloomberg critic James Russell has a few suggestions for who Lincoln Center should hire to complete the renovation of Avery Fisher Hall: Diller Scofidio & Renfro, because they did the other renovations and made the hall "look better than it has any right to;" Frank Gehry, because "Disney Hall is simply the most exciting concert hall built in the U.S. in decades;" or Jean Nouvel, because he can "conjure idiosyncratic spectacle that's true to the performing experience."
