Although Marble House has had a notoriously difficult time finding a buyer, perhaps this marble apartment in 45 East 9th Street will have better luck. Then again, perhaps not. The 2BR, 2BA duplex co-op is asking $3,850,000, kind of a lot for a co-op of that size, even one that features sixteen-foot vaulted ceilings, a wood burning fireplace, double height windows, and marble floors. Also, there's a little balcony off the upstairs study from which you can survey the living room. This is an odd place. Kind of cool, but very odd.
