New, 1 comment

NEW YORK CITY?The 2,500 apartment listings for people displaced by Hurricane Sandy are now live on Urban Edge. Landlords have worked with the city and FEMA to make the vacant units available on a first come, first serve basis. "Potential tenants will still need to go through the normal application and approval process, although some landlords have agreed to be more flexible with items such as the length of the lease, reduced security deposits, etc.," said Urban Edge's Vice President. EVERYWHERE?You could win $500 for your holiday decorations and traditions...if you take a nice enough photo. Douglas Elliman is hosting a holiday photo contest, and contestants can submit anything holiday-related, "whether it's holiday lights, home décor, loved ones, gifts, pets, or festivities," a rep said in an email, as long as it answers the question "What does 'home for the holidays' mean to you?" You can find all the info on Elliman's Facebook page. [CurbedWire Inbox]
