Bjarke Ingels West 57th Street pyramid won approval from the City Planning Commission. Just a few conditions were tacked on, all dealing with how the building appears on the street level. Signage is to be limited on 57th Street and the West Side Highway, and the 58th Street side will have a retail space and lobby, with "glass vitrines" along part of the facade that will feature plants or sculptures.
