New York City's Best Celebrity Real Estate of 2012

New, 1 comment

It's time to make up a bunch of awards and hand them out to the most deserving people, places and things in the real estate, architecture, and neighborhood universes of New York City! Yep, it's time for the Ninth Annual Curbed Awards! Today's topic: real estate!

2012 has been a great year for celebrity real estate in New York City, although, to be fair, every year has been a great year for celebrity real estate in New York City ever since 1889, when Andrew Carnegie paid a team of laborers a nickel apiece to turn East 86th Street into a giant glass hot tub (not actually a thing that happened.) This year, we saw the usual cast of athletes, musicians, actors, and artists grace us with their flip attempts, interior design choices, and hastily reconsidered purchases. Here are our ten favorites.
