Celebrity Real Estate

Apparently celebrities don't really like it when publications like Curbed write about their new-to-the-market apartment listings. Crazed fans learn about the listings, then descend on the open house to steal whatever they can get their hands on. To avoid this, many brokers simply take everything out of the apartment that can't be bolted down. But sometimes it's impossible to remove a celebrity's presence?like in Derek Jeter's former Trump Tower apartment where he had his jersey number inlaid in the floor. [NYT]
