Williamsburg Home Prices Have Increased 174% Since 2004

It's common knowledge that the gentrifying neighborhoods of Brooklyn have seen major increases in real estate values over the last several years, but what exactly do those numbers look like? The good people at Property Shark did some calculations and found that prices everywhere have boomed, but in Williamsburg, they have increased a whopping 174 percent since 2004. But Billyburg isn't alone?Brooklyn is home to the four of the 25 fastest gentrifying zip codes in the nation. Home prices have also soared in Prospect Lefferts Gardens and Gowanus, where they increased 63 and 52 percent respectively. Click through for more numbers.
