Jay-Z Rides the Subway In His Barclays Center Documentary

New, 4 comments

Micro-fractional Brooklyn Nets owner Jay-Z has created a 25-minute documentary about the Barclays Center. The film starts with some shots of Jay wearing a suit at the construction site, with a voice-over of him talking about how Bruce Ratner came to the 40/40 club and asked him to be a part of the project. Most of the mini-movie features Jay-Z and his production team preparing for his eight opening concerts, showing some pretty cool behind-the-scenes design action, but the real fun comes around the 18:30 mark when Jay-Z rides the subway. A crowd of freaking out fans follows him onto the train, where he has a pleasant conversation with a white-haired lady named Ellen who asks him if he's famous.
