Delayed Move-Ins at 55 Hope; The Contour is 100% Occupied

New, 41 comments

WILLIAMSBURG?Tipsters have sent word that move-in day at the much anticipated 55 Hope Street conversion have been delayed due to Hurricane Sandy, even though the place itself suffered no damage during the storm. New residents have been allowed to move in their belongings, but the building still does not have a Certificate of Occupancy, and DOB officials are apparently taking their grand old time looking at the application because it's not Sandy-related. "All of our fees were paid up front, and now the building has all of our belongings locked inside the apt as well, and they are providing us no detailed information," writes one tipster. Residents were originally told they could move in December 7, and now they have no expected date. [CurbedWire Inbox; previously]

REGO PARK?LeFrak's office-to-residential conversion is 100 percent leased after just six months on the market. The building, located at 97-45 Queens Boulevard, has 108 units ranging from studios to two-bedrooms that rent for $1,600 to $2,900 a month. Tenants can pay for on-site parking, the building has a landscaped roofdeck, and there's a parttime lobby attendant. [CurbedWire Inbox; previously]
