Decoded: The Most 'Perfect' of Apartment Listings

Welcome back to The Brokerbabble Glossary, where we take a word or a turn of phrase that seems to show up in an unreasonable number of listings and decipher its true meaning. If you have any ideas for us, send them to the tipline. Today's word: Perfect.

It's about time that we stopped beating around the bush and started focusing only on the New York City apartments that are perfect. And there are a lot—2,065 on Streeteasy alone. There's also at least one perfect office, which is perfect because it has all the things that you want in an office: room for one desk, harsh lighting, and no distracting windows. Oh, and shelves. For your three binders.

It's sort of anybody's guess as to what "perfect livability" means, but at least you probably won't die from living in this apartment. Also, it's 700 square feet.

Architect designed! Developer built! Broker marketed! Human lived in!

Yeah.
