New, 12 comments

Welcome back to Curbed Comparisons, a column that explores what one can rent for a set dollar amount in various New York City neighborhoods. Is one man's studio another man's townhouse? Let's find out! Today's price: $2,500/month.

? Up first, we have Curbed Comparisons mainstay the Crescent Club in Long Island City. This 681-square-foot 1BR appears to be bathed in an angelic glow and is going for $2,552/month with no fee. The building includes amenities such as private outdoor space, a pool, additional storage, etc.

? In West Chelsea, this 600-square-foot 1BR contains an open kitchen, closets, and one truly hideous wall. All that for only $2,450/month.

? The pictures of this four-room apartment in DUMBO aren't much to look at, but the price, $2,400/month including heat and hot water, is not to be ignored. No pets allowed.

? On the Lower East Side, a fully furnished 1BR is available for a six or twelve month sublet at $2,500/month. It includes french doors and not one but two walk-in closets.

? A renovated corner 1BR in Park Slope available for $2,500/month (heat and hot water included.) It looks very new, has big windows, and appears to be extremely well-lit.

? Got roommates? An 1,100-square-foot 4BR in Crown Heights is available for $2,595/month. That comes out to only $648.75 per room.
