Stuypocalypse Now

Some evidence in support of the Stuy Town is a dorm argument: nearly 2,000 Stuy Town apartments will be available for rent via (which means they're apartments that aren't part of any NYC university's existing lease system). Tallying up those 2,000 apartments and the ones already made available to students through their schools, that means at least 25 percent of Stuy Town apartments could have college student renters. Those renters aren't part of the Tenants Association, which might have consequences for those co-op and condo plans. [The Stuyvesant Town Report]
