An NBA basketball court is 4,700 square feet of hardwood, so a man like New York Knicks center Tyson Chandler would need about 3,600 square feet or so to come home to without feeling cramped. Especially since Chandler, who arrived with the struggling Knicks via an NBA Championship-winning stint with the Dallas Mavericks, is 7'1". Chandler is currently kicking off his size 14 shoes in a full-floor apartment on the 37th floor of The Rushmore at 80 Riverside Boulevard, where NY Yankee Alex Rodriguez flipped his condo two floors below in October for a significant profit, after paying $5.5 million less than a year earlier. Chandler is just renting for now, and paying $32,500 a month for the 5BR/5BA unit fit for a Knick.
