This Tracy Towers co-op has a lot going for it. Two bedrooms, a 300-square-foot living/dining room, ample (one might even say abundant) closet space, doorman, roof deck, good location, and, best of all, it's listed for a paltry half-million. Is it all too good to be true?
A quick Streeteasy search gives us four comparable listings. All of them, however, are significantly further uptown and slightly to the east. Even 420 East 51st Street, which is the closest location-wise, the same exact price, and has an addition bath demands twice the (already fairly significant) maintenance fees. So what gives, 245 East 24th Street? What aren't you telling us? We don't know what you're hiding, but whatever you're trying to sell here, we're not buying it (mainly because we don't have $549,000. If we did, we might have to buy it.)
